| DARIA D'ANDREA (viola)
lives in San Francisco where she performs with both period
and modern ensembles. A former student of Kato Havas and an
alumnus of The San Francisco Conservatory and Reed College,
Daria teaches violin and viola at the University of San Francisco,
the San Francisco Waldorf School and The San Francisco School.
Along with her American Bach Soloists appearances, Daria has
performed with Magnificat, Jubilate, The San Francisco Bach
Choir, Albany Consort, Philharmonia Baroque and Trinity Consort.
While living in Oxford, England, Daria toured Europe extensively
as principal viola of the European Community Baroque Orchestra.
She has performed solo recitals with fortepiano, exploring
solo and chamber literature of the late 18th century in particular.
